Fulfilled Fridays 12 Link-up

The Inventor’s birthday is this weekend! The planning is complete, and I’ve got nearly all the supplies.

All she asked for was a small meal with the family and Ice Cream Sundays.

That I can easily accommodate.

The fun part was looking for candy for her ice cream.

She is on a very restricted diet so it is always an adventure. I can’t buy anything chocolate because it almost always has milk in it. That limits a lot of things you’d have on your typical Ice Cream Sunday.

So instead I hit the bulk bins at our local grocery store and searched for interesting and fun candy.

I found the perfect stuff!

She loves Legos and building all kinds of things with them. They make Lego candy. You can even build with it. When I showed her the bag she started giggling like a girl.

It is close to Halloween so that means all the gross candy is in the store. While looking at the bins with my sister, she found something labeled “Missing Body Parts”. Oh my, gummy fingers, feet, brains, and bones.

As a bonus Miss Crafty was grossed out by the candy. The Inventor will get the whole bag to herself and not have to share.

This weekend is going to be a nice relaxing weekend with family time, a special meal picked by The Inventor and homemade Ice Cream Sundays. I’m excited to celebrate life with her.
